VEX Robotics - 2015 World Championship
I actively participated on the Maine School of Science & Math's VEX team. I developed the website, designed the theme of the geometric urbanized camouflage, as well as documented the entire season. In the end, we did not win the state competition (we qualified over 5 times, winning 4 of 5 events in the state of Maine) due to mechanical error, but received an Excellence Award, qualifying us for the World Championship. Below are images highlighting the trip to the World Championship in Louisville, KY. We joined over 400 teams from over 30 countries in the 1.2 Million Sq. Foot Kentucky Expo Center, in the largest educational robotics event in the world. Out of the 5 high school divisions, we placed 57th in the top, Technology, division. The experience will never be forgotten, as it allowed a chance to spend time with some of the brightest minds in the world and meet people from across the globe that share the same passion in education.
